Notifications, notifications, notifications and more!
We understand how busy you are establishing and running your Web Property, that is why we offer "Account Notifications" to our services to alert Web Property Owners of important account changes.
Depending of the severity of the notification, there are several ways we will notify you of property changes that may affect your online presence.
Via email - This is our primary method of notifying owners about account changes. Only email addresses that are considered "primary email address" will receive notifications. Make sure your email is updated in our system. We are not responsible if you don't receive your notifications due to unauthorized addresses.
Via text message- We will use this method if it is urgent that we reach you, and you have not responded to your email notification.
Via telephone- We will use this method ONLY if there is a serious issue regarding your Web Property. This does not include notifications of Web Properties that are in danger of being suspended for non-payment. You will receive such notifications via email or text.
Just to give you an example of the notifications we send out:
1. When SSL certificates are up for renewal less than 30 days of expiration date. Our system will automatically send you a notification regarding this renewal usually within 60 days before the expiration date, but if you have not renewed before the final 30 days, we will notify you to see what your options are.
2. When Domain Names are up for renewal. The same as the SSL notification, our system will automatically send you a notification regarding this renewal usually within 60 days before the expiration date, but if you have not renewed before the final 30 days, we will notify you to see if you are aware of the expiring domain.
3. When Web Properties are in danger of being suspended due to non-payment.
4. If there is an issue with your domain that requires you to log into your estore.griotsites.com to manage your web addresses and correct any issues.
5. When changes/edits have been made to your Web Property either by your request or because we troubleshot an issue that we detected.
*Need to update your primary email address? Email us at info@griotsites.com requesting the email address change. Now, this may sound silly, but a little birdie told us to remind you - DON'T FORGET TO GIVE US YOUR NEW EMAIL ADDRESS! Some have submitted requests to change the primary email address, but forget to tell us what the new address is. *YOU MUST CONTACT US FROM YOUR CURRENT PRIMARY EMAIL TO REQUEST CHANGES. Example:
Greetings, I am the Web Property Owner of (www.examplegriot.com), and I am requesting to update my account with a new primary email address.
Please delete my current primary email (info@examplegriot.com) and replace it with my new email (sample@examplegriot.com). *If you do not have access to your current primary email, contact our customer service department for assistance in changing your primary email.
